MV Movers Terms & Conditions

This website is operated by MV Movers. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to MV Movers. MV Movers offers this website, including all information, tools and Services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/ or booking and paying for a service from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any Services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
 

These Terms & Conditions are set out and followed by MV Movers (a trading tame of London Town Logistics LTD) by agreeing, booking or using our services you agree to be bound to these Terms laid out below and you will be sent a copy along with the. 

Section 1 : Deposits - We require a 50% deposit to be paid when booking in our services and the remainder of the balance to be paid on site upon completion of the job. The deposit will then be deducted off of the final invoice.

When paying your deposit with us you have 72 Hours prior to the start date of your booking to notify our office of any cancellations or changes in which you can receive your deposit back in full, if you do cancel or change your booking after the 72 hours prior to your start date you will not be liable to receive a refund of your deposit if cancelling your booking and will be asked to then pay a deposit again if rescheduling your booking. 

Section 2 : Goods - When booking in one of our services we will ask for an itinerary or description of the items if there are more items added to the itinerary, that was not shown upon quoting or booking in or any difficult access points that impact the time or ability to complete the job that have not been shown or discussed, we will charge you accordingly on site.

Section 3 : Waiting Time - We give a maximum of 2 hours waiting time for keys for our customers at secondary moving in property, this is defined by the time in which we arrive at the new property and the amount of time we have to wait to gain access to the property to continue our service.  We would charge to the nearest 30 minutes; accordingly, based on how many men you have on site.

Section 4 : Hourly rates - If you have decided you prefer to use our hourly rates, The rate at which we will be charging will be confirmed upon booking in with us which is done by per man per hour, we charge a minimum of 2 hours, and we bill to the nearest 30 mins thereafter. Job completion time will be charged when driving back to Ealing (our office location) from wherever the destination is for the job.

Section 5 : Mileage charge – A cost of £1.75 will be added after 10 miles.

Section 6 : Parking – We ask that all our customers please provide parking directly outside the nearest access point to the property or as near as possible. It is your responsibility (the customer) to provide sufficient parking whether that be saving the space or by obtaining parking permits for the vehicle(s) if you fail to do so any parking fines/tickets related to the service you that booked in are received these will be passed onto yourself (the customer) and billed in addition your initial invoice.

Section 7 : Vehicle Charges - If any of customers live inside the Congestion charge zone, this charge will be billed to you (the customer) and added onto the final invoice.

Section 8 : Damages - If our customers have packed their own items, The M V MOVERS team cannot be liable for any damages incurred.

In the unfortunate circumstance that an item has been broken or misplaced whilst using our packing service, you have 2 days to call or email to notify our office for any claim.

All your items are fully insured with goods in transit and public liability insurance.

Section 9 : Storage - When using our storage service we charge a minimum of 30 days for this service. Please note customers will not have access to their goods until the items are returned on the arranged date.
