MV Movers

Shop, Restaurant & Commercial Clearance

Shops, cafes, restaurants, gyms, salons and small warehouses, cleared back to the lease condition on the date the landlord wants. Fittings out, kitchens out, racking down, floor swept.

MV Movers crew moving heavy gym equipment during a commercial job in Ealing

Commercial clearances are deadline work. A lease ends on a date, the landlord’s surveyor arrives the day after, and anything left behind costs money. Dave plans the crew and the vans from that date backwards, and the team work evenings or weekends where the parade or the centre needs it.

The crew have already repositioned equipment for a local gym, relocated two GP surgeries and run deliveries for a Currys store, so the heavy and the awkward are familiar: commercial fridges, extraction hoods, treadmills, racking, display counters and the rest. Fittings in good condition are separated for resale or reuse, metal goes for recycling, and the rest is taken to licensed facilities.

Stock, tills and anything you are keeping can go to another site or into storage at Big Yellow Ealing on the same day. Restaurant and cafe kitchens are cleared once the gas has been capped by a Gas Safe engineer and the water isolated.

Send photos of the premises and the handover date, and Dave will walk the site with you before quoting.

What's included

  • Shops, cafes, restaurants, salons and gyms
  • Fittings, counters, shelving and display units
  • Commercial kitchens and refrigeration (gas capped first)
  • Gym equipment and heavy machinery moved or removed
  • Warehouse racking dismantled and removed
  • Stock and kept items moved or stored
  • Evenings and weekends by arrangement
  • Premises swept and left to lease condition

Clearing and moving? One quote can cover the clearance, the move, packing and storage. Tick what applies on the form and Dave plans it as one job.

Where we do it

How disposal works

Sorted, not just taken away

1

Reuse first

Furniture and fittings in good condition are set aside for family, resale or donation before anything is loaded for disposal.

2

Recycle what can be

Metal, timber, cardboard and electricals are kept apart from general waste and taken to facilities that recycle them.

3

Licensed facilities only

What is left goes to licensed waste and recycling facilities. Nothing is left on a verge, and the crew will say up front if an item needs a specialist contractor.

Office move, London

“The team at MV Movers were extremely helpful, honest and hardworking. I paid £650 for a large office move with an estimated removal time of 6 hour, the move took over 9 hours with no additional costs. I will definitely use again for both personal and business moves in the future! If you are looking for a company you can rely on MV Movers will go above an beyond.”

Business owner

“I couldn’t be more impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of MV movers. From the moment I got in touch, communication was prompt and clear. On the day of the move, the team arrived on time, handled everything with great care, and worked incredibly quickly and smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble— they smiled too! Which is not what you often see 😊”

FAQ

Shop, Restaurant & Commercial Clearance: your questions

Can you clear a restaurant kitchen?

Yes, once a Gas Safe engineer has capped the gas and the water is isolated. Commercial fridges, cookers and extraction are removed by the crew.

Do you dismantle shop fittings and racking?

Yes. The crew carry the tools and take fittings and racking down before loading.

Can you work after the shopping centre closes?

Yes. Out-of-hours clearances are arranged to suit the centre or the parade.

What happens to fittings in good condition?

They are separated for resale or reuse rather than disposed of, which often reduces the cost of the job.

Photos first, price second.

Send a few photos of what needs clearing with the floor and the date. Dave replies with a fixed price, usually the same day.
