A sofa the council cannot collect until next month, a bed frame the new one is replacing tomorrow, a wardrobe that will not come down the stairs in one piece. Two of the crew and a van sort it in a morning.
Furniture disposal is man-and-van work priced accordingly: usually two of the team, a Luton or a smaller van, and an hour or two on site. The difference from a skip or a council collection is that the crew come inside, dismantle what needs dismantling and carry it out, rather than you dragging it to the kerb.
A Brentford customer who booked an "IKEA Kallax disposal" wrote "fast and reliable service, would recommend". Another in the same postcode used the crew twice for "sofas, white goods, beds and mattresses". The Twickenham customer who booked a flat-to-tip run wrote that Dave "kept in touch regularly" and "removed all items as agreed".
Furniture in good condition is kept apart for reuse. The rest goes to licensed waste and recycling facilities, with timber, metal and soft furnishings separated where the facility takes them that way.
Send a photo of each item and the floor it is on, and Dave will reply with a price. Same-week slots are usually available; same-day sometimes.

Clearing and moving? One quote can cover the clearance, the move, packing and storage. Tick what applies on the form and Dave plans it as one job.
Furniture and fittings in good condition are set aside for family, resale or donation before anything is loaded for disposal.
2
Recycle what can be
Metal, timber, cardboard and electricals are kept apart from general waste and taken to facilities that recycle them.
3
Licensed facilities only
What is left goes to licensed waste and recycling facilities. Nothing is left on a verge, and the crew will say up front if an item needs a specialist contractor.
“Hired for a partial flat clearence/junk removal job. The team from MV came on time and worked hard on a hot day to package and remove a lot of items (including a bed, wardrobe and 2 armchairs) in a difficult situation. The guys were friendly and professional and got everything done in good time. I would recommend.”

FAQ
Furniture Disposal & Collection: your questions
How much does it cost to dispose of a sofa?
It depends on the size, the floor and whether anything else is going. Photos on WhatsApp get a fixed price, usually within the hour.
Do you dismantle furniture to get it out?
Yes. Wardrobes, beds and flat-pack are taken apart on site where they will not fit through the door or down the stairs.
Can I add other items on the day?
Yes, if there is room in the van. Mention anything extra when you book so the right van comes.
Can you deliver a new item and take the old one?
Yes. Collection of a new sofa from a shop and disposal of the old one is a common combined job.
Photos first, price second.
Send a few photos of what needs clearing with the floor and the date. Dave replies with a fixed price, usually the same day.
