Rubbish Removal

A skip needs a permit, a space on the street and a week of your neighbours’ patience. A van and two of the crew need an hour, and they do the loading.

MV Movers crew strapping a load on the tail-lift of a Luton van before leaving a West London job

Rubbish removal with MV Movers is priced by how much of the van it fills and how heavy it is, and quoted from photos before anyone arrives. The crew carry everything out from wherever it is, which is the part a skip never does for you.

Typical loads across Ealing, Hanwell and Southall are the leftovers from a renovation (bagged plaster, old units, packaging), the results of a clear-out (boxes, broken furniture, bags of clothes), garden waste, and the pile that builds up in a side return. Anything bulky can go on the same van as the bags.

Waste is taken to licensed waste and recycling facilities, with recyclable materials kept apart where the facility sorts that way. The crew do not take asbestos, clinical waste or anything in commercial quantities that needs a specialist contractor, and will say so when you send the photos.

An Ealing customer who booked "a partial flat clearance/junk removal job" wrote that the team "came on time and worked hard on a hot day to package and remove a lot of items". Photos of the pile are all Dave needs to quote.

What's included

  • Bagged household and renovation waste
  • Bulky items on the same load
  • Carried out from any room, floor or garden
  • Priced by load from your photos
  • No skip permit, no street space needed
  • Recyclables separated where possible
  • Taken to licensed waste and recycling facilities
  • Same-week slots, often sooner

Clearing and moving? One quote can cover the clearance, the move, packing and storage. Tick what applies on the form and Dave plans it as one job.

Where we do it

How disposal works

Sorted, not just taken away

1

Reuse first

Furniture and fittings in good condition are set aside for family, resale or donation before anything is loaded for disposal.

2

Recycle what can be

Metal, timber, cardboard and electricals are kept apart from general waste and taken to facilities that recycle them.

3

Licensed facilities only

What is left goes to licensed waste and recycling facilities. Nothing is left on a verge, and the crew will say up front if an item needs a specialist contractor.

“Recommend them as have had positive experience so far - from initial contact to first visit to discuss the moving of items, how/what options and costs. Very people oriented and good customer service. We kept to clear communication throughout, an essential aspect and I appreciated flexibilty with reasonable notice with Dave. We booked the date & they packed all large furniture items. They smoothly loaded the van & moved to storage on the day. Great consciencious team on the day! Now, am planning movers to bring back my items....... Tip - ensure clear comminication and work well together, ask questions from the start, for a smooth operation.”

“House move inc clearance to tip. The move was handled professionally and respectfully, a cheerful team who really looked after my belongings and furniture which included some very large items. Priced the job fairly and was very transparent on the waste/clearance costs. Really made my move stress free thanks to MV Team and David. Would highly recommend without a doubt! Thanks again”

“Hired for a partial flat clearence/junk removal job. The team from MV came on time and worked hard on a hot day to package and remove a lot of items (including a bed, wardrobe and 2 armchairs) in a difficult situation. The guys were friendly and professional and got everything done in good time. I would recommend.”

FAQ

Rubbish Removal: your questions

Is it cheaper than a skip?

For most household loads, yes, once the permit, the hire period and your own labour are counted. And it is gone the same day rather than sitting on the street.

What will you not take?

Asbestos, clinical waste, and commercial quantities of builders’ waste that need a specialist contractor. Household quantities of paint and chemicals can be taken separately; mention them when you book.

How do you price it?

By how much of the van the load fills and how heavy it is. Send photos and Dave gives a fixed price before the crew come.

Do you take garden waste with household rubbish?

Yes, on the same van. Keep it bagged or piled separately so it can be kept apart for composting where possible.

Photos first, price second.

Send a few photos of what needs clearing with the floor and the date. Dave replies with a fixed price, usually the same day.
